Charles Tillman Named October’s NFC Defensive Player of the Month

After a pair of Pick-6’s in consecutive weeks and a dominating performance against one of the league’s most dangerous wide receivers in Calvin Johnson, Charles Tillman made it two for two for NFC Defensive Player of the Month wins.  Tillman’s October honor follows fellow cornerback Tim Jennings’ September award.

Tillman appears poised for a return trip to the Pro Bowl after making his first trip last season.  He’s raised his level of play and appears to be getting better with age.  Besides the interceptions, he’s also got three forced fumbles, a fumble recover and 38 tackles to go along with three passes defensed.

My only question – which Bears defender will win the November Defensive Player of the Month award?  The campaign starts on Sunday in Tennessee.
