2012 #74 – Shonn Greene RB – NY Jets,  Greene had 276 for 1,063 yards and 8 touchdowns.  Greene had one great game in week #6 against the Indianapolis Colts when he rushed for 161 yards and 3 Touchdowns the rest of the season just like the Jets offense was pretty pathetic.  He scored less than 10 fantasy points in 9 of 16 weeks while cracking more than 20 in just 2.  He is saddled with a pathetic offense orchestrated by Mark Sanchez who is one of the worst QB’s in the NFL. Greene will be a late pick and in deep leagues is ok but in 10 team leagues is strictly a backup.

Retro-#74 Jeff Blake QB Arizona Cardinals Blake is a nice blast from the past who had some good years for Cincinnati Bengals and had some pretty exciting highlights.  In 2002 it was in the twilight of his career as he came off the bench and played the final 9 weeks throwing for a respectable 2,084 yards 13 touchdowns 11 interceptions.  Blake would play one more season before his NFL playing days came to and end.

Looking ahead #74

ESPN– T.Y. Hilton WR Indianapolis Colts- We have discussed Hilton already he’s exciting yet kind of a question mark if he will be able to repeat his pretty special season.  Hilton will go pretty early 3-5 rounds just because people will be banking on Andrew Luck and the Colts offense improving.

CBS– Torrey Smith WR Baltimore Ravens- I really believe the loss of Anquan Boldin will hurt Smith the most since the Ravens will be force feeding Smith more than they have since he arrived in Baltimore.  Smith has a good year in 2013 but super breakout season will be a stretch!
