Chicago Bears Jersey Exchange Program?

Some recent NFL news got me to thinking. The New England Patriots are offering a jersey exchange program this upcoming weekend for fans who own an Aaron Hernandez jersey.  The Patriots released Hernandez, who was arrested on murder charges in one of the strangest and saddest stories this offseason.

Here’s what the Pats said in their statement:

“We know that children love wearing their Patriots jerseys, but may not understand why parents don’t want them wearing their Hernandez jerseys anymore,” said New England Patriots spokesperson Stacey James. “We hope this opportunity to exchange those jerseys at the Patriots ProShop for another player’s jersey will be well received by parents.”

So this news got me scratching the old dome.  We’ve all seen them at Bears games.  The guys sporting the now-ill-fitting Curtis Enis jersey or a Bryan Cox jersey, like our two poster boys at the start of this post.  So it begs this all-important two-part question:

1. Which Bears jersey would you exchange if the Bears had a jersey exchange program?  Which jersey do you regret purchasing?

and part 2 of our question:

2. Which jersey would you want back in trade?  Which current Bears player is worthy for you to wear?

So grab your old Rashaan Salaam or Cade McNown jerseys and head to our virtual jersey exchange program.

Let’s hear what you think in the Comments.

    Trade A Train jersey.
Get Tillman would be worthy. I would say B Marsh and Peppers but I own both those already.

  • marshon

Trade my a-train for tillman, peppers, briggs, Bennett, bush,Wright, jennings. BEARDOWN!!!

  • John Mack

I would trade my 1.) Cedric Benson Jersey

    for a

    2.) Matt Forte Jersey,

sure it’s a lateral move but the latter has thus far proven more consistent than the former!

    Other lateral moves
    1.) Tommie Harris
    2.) Henry Melton

    1.) Gabe Carimi/Chris Williams
2.) Roberto Garza (the only consistent player on O-Line)

If anyone wants a Rashaan Salaam jersey (I’m serious)… let me know what you’d straight up trade (I’m serious).

  • shawndizzle

    • BearGogglesOn

You’re on the medal stand with that selection for sure!

  • John Mack

How about we trade our Evan Rodriguez jersies for Martellus Bennett jersies?

  • Pat

I’d like to switch out my Grossman for a Cutler.

    • bearisity

Lol you got a grossman jersey………sorry

    • BearGogglesOn

What are you going to do after next season when Cutler’s gone??? LOL

  • Michael Roszkowski

My wife has a David Terrel Jersey if you’re interested. A Forte jersey would be good for her.

  • Plain ol’ Mike

This is exactly why I don’t purchase jerseys of current players. I don’t own a single jersey of any Bear who is currently on the roster. My favorite jersey is #34, and I’ll never trade it nor ever need to.

    • BearGogglesOn

That’s a good policy. Would you get an Urlacher now that he’s retired?

  • Renae

I would trade my Enis jersey for a B Marshall jersey.

  • Tony Cunningham

I have a Cox jersey, can I get a blank one in return? I have a feeling there’s going to be a lot of turnover here in the next few years. Especially if the mad scientist can’t get this rolling in the right direction.

    • BearGogglesOn

I’m afraid you’re right, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Emery and Trestman are going to re-shape this team the way they see fit. Let’s just hope the right guys stay and the right guys go.

  • Michigan Bruce

I Have a #12 Kramer and I wouldn’t give it up,I’ve been to alot of bears games and its a great conversation piece, specially when I go to Detroit.
