Chicago Bears Jersey Exchange Program?

facebooktwitterreddit

Some recent NFL news got me to thinking. The New England Patriots are offering a jersey exchange program this upcoming weekend for fans who own an Aaron Hernandez jersey.  The Patriots released Hernandez, who was arrested on murder charges in one of the strangest and saddest stories this offseason.

Here’s what the Pats said in their statement:

"“We know that children love wearing their Patriots jerseys, but may not understand why parents don’t want them wearing their Hernandez jerseys anymore,” said New England Patriots spokesperson Stacey James. “We hope this opportunity to exchange those jerseys at the Patriots ProShop for another player’s jersey will be well received by parents.”"

So this news got me scratching the old dome.  We’ve all seen them at Bears games.  The guys sporting the now-ill-fitting Curtis Enis jersey or a Bryan Cox jersey, like our two poster boys at the start of this post.  So it begs this all-important two-part question:

1. Which Bears jersey would you exchange if the Bears had a jersey exchange program?  Which jersey do you regret purchasing?

and part 2 of our question:

2. Which jersey would you want back in trade?  Which current Bears player is worthy for you to wear?

So grab your old Rashaan Salaam or Cade McNown jerseys and head to our virtual jersey exchange program.

Let’s hear what you think in the Comments.
