#59-2012 Mike Williams Williams after a very good rookie season still hasn’t been able to match those stats including the very impressive 11 touchdowns. After a sophomore slump he did get close to returning to a higher level grabbing 9 touchdowns in 2012. His best week was #16 when he had 7 catches for 132 yards and a touchdown.  With Vincent Jackson on the other side Williams should have a solid season as a #3 receiver on most rosters fantasy rosters.

Retro #59- Garrison Hearst-RB-San Fransisco 49ers- Hearst was in the twilight of his career in San Fran and had another good season.  Hearst had a great game in Week #13 against the Seattle Seahawks when he rushed for 121 yards and 3 touchdowns. Hearst had one more year left in the tank before playing sparingly in 2004.  The former 1st round pick in 1993 really had a decent career after a shaky start.

Look Ahead-#59

ESPN– Cecil Shorts- WR – Jacksonville Jaguars- The problem I have with Shorts or any player in Jacksonville is the quarterback question. It’s the NFL and someone has to catch the ball, but will Shorts be able to replicate his breakout or just be a Short story in Jaguar Land.

CBS-Russell Wilson-QB-Seattle Seahawks- I’m a little shocked that CBS has him ranked this low with all the pre-season hype. Russell will have even more weapons with Percy Harvin joining the receiving crew.  Should be an interesting season in Seattle, but where to draft Willson is a fantasy question.
