Bears fans had to endure a dose of “Bad Jay” this past Sunday in the Motor City.  Before we all go jumping out of our basement windows, let’s analyze the Jeckyl & Hyde act that is our beloved #6.

Including Sunday, Cutler has thrown 3 or more interceptions 8 times in his career.  Not surprisingly, Cutler’s team is 0-8 in those contests.  What is interesting to note, is that Cutler is 6-1 following those “Bad Jay” games.

Check out the infographic showing Jay’s bad games and the bounceback games. Click on the categories at the top to see the results (Click refresh on your browser if you don’t see the graphic below):

Notice that he has thrown no more than 1 interception in those bounce-back games.  Does this mean the Bears have a better than average chance of winning versus the Saints on Sunday?  Not necessarily.
