WR:

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Harry Douglas ATL (49%): I feel stupid for doubting Douglas last week. I wanted to see what he could do as the #1 WR before I put him in my lineup. Whoops. He not only put up 147 yards and a TD, but he did it against Darrell Revis. Not a bad debut as the Falcons new #1 WR.

Max FAAB: $25

Terrance Williams DAL (49%): If he is still on your waiver wire, you waited a week too long to get him cheap as it looks like Miles Austin is going to be shut-down for awhile (shocker). Williams had another solid game this week (6-71-1) and is looking like the Cowboys #2 WR the rest of the way.

Max FAAB: $22

Darius Heyward-Bey IND (20%): I’m generally not a proponent of wide receivers that can’t catch, but with the season ending injury to Reggie Wayne and a borderline elite QB in Andrew Luck, DHB has a chance to be fantasy worthy for the first time in his career. I think he’ll get enough targets that he’s bound to catch a few of them. He has elite speed, so if he can just catch a few of the balls thrown his way he could be fantasy relevant the rest of the season. I’m going to bid on him, but I don’t feel great about it.

Max FAAB: $12

Kris Durham DET (7%): 29 targets over the last 3 games and no real competition for the Lions #2 WR slot.

Max FAAB: $12

Jarrett Boykin GB (30%): Nothing I read on Boykin (Nice kid, hard worker, watches a lot of film, etc) made me think he was going to do anything special with his playing time in week 7. After 8 catches for 103 yards and a TD, it seems I need to re-evaluate. The Packers receiver core was already depleted before they lost Finley to a head / neck injury on Sunday. With James Jones out for another week or two it looks like Boykin is Aaron Rodgers’ #2 option behind Jordy Nelson for this week at least.

Max FAAB: $10 (loses value when JJ comes back)

TE:

Coby Fleener IND (43%): I’ve gone back and forth on Fleener all year because he can’t seem to put together two good games in a row. With the loss of TE D’wayne Allen earlier in the year and now Reggie Wayne out for the season (shoulder), Fleener is in prime potion to be a consistent contributor in the passing game. I’ve said this before, but I expect big things from Fleener the rest of the year and see him as a back-end TE1.

Max FAAB: $12

Jordan Reed WAS  (25%): I’m not sure if Jordan Reed is really good or the Bears secondary is really bad. It’s probably some combination of the two, but Reed looked like an All-pro Sunday. With no real track record in the pros, I’m going to make sure I own him in a few leagues just in case Sunday wasn’t a fluke. Rumor has it the Redskins are trying to trade TE Fred Davis which leads me to believe they think Reed is the real deal.

Max FAAB: $12
