Fantasy Football Week 10: Waivers

Well at least the 6 team bye weeks are over. This week four teams are taking a break (NYJ, CLE, NE, KC) and besides the Patriots and Jamal Charles most won’t be missed. There are some new names on the waiver wire this week especially at QB, so if you do have a few holes in your starting lineup or are just looking to upgrade, check out my list below. I’ve added a player at each position that I don’t believe in but other sites are pushing.

All players on this list are owned in less than 60% of Yahoo leagues.

QB:

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Nick Foles GB (28%): 7 TDs and 406 yards last week. It’s not gonna happen every week, but Foles has a 13 TD / 1 INT ratio for the season so it doesn’t seem like a fluke to me either. It’s his job to lose the rest of the season.

Max FAAB: $25

Jay Cutler DET (29%): Cutler is going to be back a few weeks early from his groin injury and has some easy match-ups late in the season (Phi, Min, Dal).

Max FAAB: $10

Case Keenum @AZ (12%): In two starts Keenum is averaging 310 yards and 2 TDs.  I don’t think anyone saw this coming, but shouldn’t cost you much to see if Keenum can do it again.

Max FAAB: $5

Jake Locker JAX (38%): Played poorly last week (10 points), but it doesn’t get much easier than a match-up verse Jags. Locker was playing well before last week (6 TD / 1 INT) and expect him to get back on track this week.

Max FAAB: $5

NO – Ben Roethlisberger (57%): Don’t get carried away because of Ben’s 4 TD game last week. He has 4 TD passes total in his previous 4 games.
