Might as well use this guy’s shot in my post. I am starting to become dead inside. There’s been about three or four games that I said we really needed to win, and we only won one of them. Let’s call this a season of missed opportunities. Beating the Packers in Lambeau was great. After that it’s been mostly downhill.

Losing to the Lions in Soldier Field to give them the sweep was the lowest of the low-lights because of the position it put us in. Getting man-handled like the Jonas Brothers by the Rams sucked bad, only to be followed by getting a wedgie in our “Last Dance” in the Metrodome by the Vikings. Who, coincidentally, had nothing to play for but pride.

Now, we all know the Lions are allergic to success, but in spite of themselves they sit atop the NFC North. We even helped them get there by jumping on a grenade named Aaron Rodgers. I was talking with my wife about watching another sport last night, that’s how bad it is. The only problem is The Chicago Bears don’t play any other sports.

I did some soul searching and I figured out something. I was complete and had a one-ness with the universe and all that crap. George Halas light shined unto me to reveal…………………

Marc Trestman is the offensive version of Lovie Smith.
