With a 6-6 record, the Chicago Bears are NOT out of the playoff picture just yet.  They just need to find a way to win two more games than the Detroit Lions with just four games left to play.  It’s not looking good, but there’s still a chance.  There’s no better time to at least start thinking about the NFL Draft.

Bowl season is just around the corner, which is a great time to do a little advanced scouting and start thinking about which players the Bears can select to fix their broken defense and restock the cupboard.  Our experts at the FanSided mother ship have already been doing this homework for us and have made their selection for the Bears in their Week 14 Mock Draft, currently sitting with the 17th pick in the draft.

I would like to see us go back to the old defensive strategy like when we had Tractor Trailer & that other big ol’ joker in the middle before Lovie came along preaching all this speed wich is good but I think it’s time for a LITTLE change

  • Mike Flannery

I wouldn’t mind seeing the Bears take an OLB either. There a couple of good ones that could still be available CJ Mosely (ALA), Anthony Barr( UCLA), Ryan Shazier (OSU) or Khalil Mack (BUF) depending on where the Bears pick. They need somebody besides Briggs who can tackle and I don’t think Khaseem Greene is the guy.

I say DT in round 1 & then OLB in round 2. Even if Khaseem Greene doesn’t ever make a Pro Bowl I think he’s still gonna turn into a solid player for us. Don’t forget he’s only a rookie, a 3rd rounder at that.
