If your fantasy team is still alive, congrats. There probably isn’t much value on the waiver wire in your league, but with injuries this week to Gronk, Welker, Peterson, and Reggie Bush you may be looking for a replacement.  I’ve listed a few players owned in less than 60% of Yahoo leagues that could be difference makers the last few weeks of the season.

QB:

Jay Cutler (35%): The Bears offense is rolling right now and Cutler should be able to step in without much of a drop-off in productivity. According to coach Trestman, it’s Cutler’s job next week and after a tough match-up @CLE, the Bears get Philly & Green Bay’s fantasy friendly defenses.

Max FAAB: $10

Ryan Tannehill (26%): He’s played well of late with 5 TD passes in the last two games and 300+ yards in two of last three.  The schedule is favorable with exploitable fantasy match-ups the next two weeks (Pats, Bills).

Max FAAB: $5

RB:

Marcel Reese (12%): With Jennings and DMC banged up, Reese has a shot to be the man in Oakland the next few weeks. He had a huge game in week 14 (161 total yards, 1 TD), is a good receiver out of the backfield, and has two promising matchups in weeks 16 & 17 (SD, Den).

Max FAAB: $25

Daniel Thomas (11%) – Lamar Miller is potentially out with a concussion which means plenty of touches for Thomas. He’s not the most talented RB, but looked good last week and should approach 20 touches with Miller out.

Max FAAB: $20

Toby Gerhart (8%) – It sounds like Adrian Peterson will be out at least this week, so if Gerhart is healthy enough to play he’s a decent RB2. He averaged 6.6 YPC on 16 attempts last week and is averaging over 4 YPC on the season so he’s no slouch. Gerhart is also a good short yardage back so he should get any goal-line carries while AD is out.

Max FAAB: $15

Andre Ellington (58%): Healthy again and with the Cardinals in the hunt for a playoff, I expect Ellington to get plenty of touches down the stretch because Mendenhall still sucks. Ellington is a decent flex play in PPR leagues and at least worthy of a bench spot in standard scoring leagues.

Max FAAB: $12
