The latest in our series of Chicago Bears Free Agent Profiles brings us to return specialist Devin Hester.  He’s the latest in a line of Chicago Bears legends who could be heading out of town as the best to ever do it in a Bears uniform.  Hester holds every Chicago Bears return record and just about every record in the league.  He’s changed the way teams approach special teams and even how the league deals with kickoffs.

Hester was resigned by Jerry Angelo to a monster deal in 2010, paying him like a #1 wide receiver.  The Bears tried to pass him off as such for years.  The experiment failed and the Bears moved him into a role as a return specialist.  Don’t fault Hester for what the Bears paid him.
