The Dallas Cowboys finished another completely average and dissappointing season under infamous general manager Jerry Jones. Over the course of the year, these Cowboys blew many leads and lost many winnable games thanks to a bunch of chokers. However, they have positive sides. Dez Bryant is a monster at receiver, Tony Romo is a decent quarterback (unless it’s a close game), and the running game was not bad last year. Their defense, on the other hand, is an embarrassment. That is why, like the beloved Bears, the Cowboys draft will center around the defensive side of the ball. However, this years Dallas offseason has been filled with questionable moves, putting it lightly.

Team Needs

Defensive EndDemarcus Ware is a once in a generation player who still has a lot left in the tank. The fact that the Cowboys let him go is appalling to me. The Cowboys will need to try to find an adequate fill in, which is a tall order.

Linebacker- Sean Lee is good, but he can’t do it all alone. The Cowboys need another guy who can help fill holes against the run.

Wide Receiver- Miles Austin was a good target when healthy. The Cowboys can definitely use a new one to whom Romo can attempt to throw passes without having them intercepted.

Safety- The Cowboys need someone to stop big plays, as they gave up far too many last season. Just ask Alshon Jeffery.
