To preview the upcoming season we have reached out to our fellow Fansided sites to get the inside info on the 2014 Chicago Bears opponents. Today we tackle the 2nd opponent on the Bears schedule, the San Francisco 49ers. Check out how Orly Rios Jr. from Niner Noise answered our infamous “5 Questions”.

What did you like and/or dislike about what the 49ers did in free agency and the draft?

"I loved the move to get Stevie Johnson from Buffalo. The 49ers had almost zero production from their No. 3 WR, not anymore with Johnson in the slot. As for the draft, the Ward pick was nice, Ellington might be a nice steal, and being able to draft Carlos Hyde in the 2nd Round reminds me a lot of what happened with Steven Jackson, number one rated RB in the draft being the 2nd-3rd back selected."

Which rookie are you most looking forward to seeing this season?

"Even though he was drafted last season, this will technically be Marcus Lattimore’s rookie season. Interestingly enough, the 49ers may have their future back in Hyde or Lattimore."

What do you feel the 49ers weakest link is going into Training Camp?

"Defensive back, in particular corner. Outside of Brock, lots of questions."

Can you tell us about a player on the roster who hasn’t reached the spotlight but you feel will be a difference maker in 2014?

"TE Vance McDonald, who was mostly used as a blocker than a WR. 49ers have so many weapons right now, Vance could be one of those guys who slips under the radar of most defenses."

I know it’s ridiculously early, but I know everyone looks at the schedule in the offseason trying to predict wins and losses. How do you feel about the matchup(s) against the Bears?

"Bad news for the Chicago as they are the first team to open up at Levi’s Stadium, the 49ers new home. The 49ers and their crowd are going to be fired up but and  it should be a heck of a game, especially the Bear WRs against the 49ers secondary. But I’m taking the 49ers D over the Bears offense."

So what do you think about the matchup against the 49ers? Do you feel that the 49ers defense will dominate last years #2 scoring offense? How about the Bears defense? Can they contain Kaepernick? I know they couldn’t last time they played.  Let me know your thoughts below in the comments section.

I want to thank Orly Rios Jr.from NinerNoise for taking the time out to answer our 5 Questions about the matchup between the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers. Make sure you check out NinerNoise for all your news and info about the 49ers.
