To preview the upcoming season we have reached out to our fellow Fansided sites to get the inside info on the 2014 Chicago Bears opponents. Today we tackle the 13th opponent on the Bears schedule, the Dallas Cowboys. Check out how Steven Mullenax from The Landry Hat answered our infamous “5 Questions”.

What did you like and/or dislike about what the Dallas Cowboys did in free agency and the draft?

I liked the fact Dallas addressed their needs in free agency and via the draft. The accusations of defensive tackle Henry Melton and re-signing of defensive end Anthony Spencer being the two biggest signings in free agency. In the draft, seven of the nine Cowboys draft picks were defensive. This will add much needed depth to a Dallas defense that was ranked dead last in the NFL in 2013.

What I did not like is the fact both Melton and Spencer are coming off season-ending injuries. And know it’s been revealed Spencer is unlikely to be ready by the start of the regular season. As far as the draft is concerned, I’m disappointed the Cowboys had to give up their third round pick in order to move up to select Boise State defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence early in the second round.
