Matchups I Like:

Andrew Luck (JAX): The last time Andrew Luck played Jacksonville he put up four touchdowns and 36.00 fantasy points. This time he’s at home.

Matt Stafford (@NE): The Patriots are on an impressive six game winning streak, putting over 40 points per game during the stretch. Even if the Lions don’t win, Stafford should still be able to put up solid fantasy numbers as Jay Cutler, Peyton Manning, and Andrew Luck have done recently against New England. Expect a high-scoring game in this one.

Josh McCown (@CHI): Since returning as the starter McCown has put up two straight games of over 20 fantasy points and now faces off against his former team in Week 12. In the returning game to Soldier Field for Josh McCown and Lovie Smith, expect McCown to put up solid numbers after consecutive games of over 20 fantasy points.

Matchups I Don’t Like:

Russell Wilson (ARI): In their past three games the Cardinals defense has allowed a total of 25.3 fantasy points to the quarterback position. That’s an average of 8.43 fantasy points per start. If you can, sit Wilson this week.

Philip Rivers (STL): Since allowing 40.25 fantasy points to Russell Wilson in Week 7, quarterbacks have been averaging just 16.21 points per game against an improving Rams defense. Last week the team prevented Peyton Manning from reaching at least 20 fantasy points for the first time in 2014. By the end of the season St. Louis will be considered one of the toughest defenses to play in the league.
