Bears vs Lions: Inside the Matchups

It’s Bears vs Lions to kick off Week 13 of the NFL season and the Thanksgiving Day slate of games.  This is the Lions’ 75th Thanksgiving Day Classic.  The Lions are 34-38-2 on Turkey Day.  This isn’t the Bears’ first Thanksgiving Day game against the Lions.  The Bears hold an 8-7 edge against the Lions in their Thanksgiving series.

This version of the Thanksgiving Day Classic finds two teams seemingly going in opposite directions.  The 5-6 Bears are riding a two game winning streak while the Lions are losers of two straight, dropping them out of first place in the NFC North and down to a 7-4 record.  Lions fans have seen some late season collapses in recent years, so it’s no surprise some are getting a little concerned.  Let’s look at how these teams match up.
