There you go, I said it. The Chicago Bears will make the playoffs in 2015.

I couldn’t sleep and I haven’t written in a while so here I am.

Also, I just finished watching the Chicago Blackhawks lose at home to the Anaheim Ducks in game 3 of the Stanley Cup Western Conference Finals and it sucked.

Just like you, I read all about what is going on with our team. Mostly by smartphone, before I go to sleep. I also read most of the comments.

As an out of market fan, it’s the only way to get into a discussion, or really, listen to fan’s discussions about our Bears.

More from Chicago Bears News

I’ve heard every negative point of view there is.

“Jay Cutler will never win anything.”

“We should have drafted all defense!”

“We only look good on paper.” “We looked good on paper last year too.”

I’ve seen a sizable increase in the positive statements, though.

“We now have arguably one of the best coaching staffs in the league.”

“Fangio’s had Green Bay’s number for 4 years.”

“They will cut out on Cutler’s mistakes by running the ball more just like the Cowboys last year with Romo.”

I like to lean towards the glass half full when it comes to our Beloved.

I could offer up some so-called expert analysis about depth, who will start from our draft class, and a potpourri of the tangibles that need to happen for us to have success, but I won’t.

That’s not my style. I’m the “Fan’s Non-Expert Take on the Game” guy. After every game during the season, I write a post based on a regular hard-core Bears fan’s experience of watching the game.

Understandably so, Chicago Bears fans are shell-shocked from last season. Maybe we improve by 2 wins this season, some say.

Others believe we are headed in the right direction, but won’t make the playoffs for a few years.

Screw that.

I believe we will surprise a lot of people by not only getting into the playoffs, but winning a game or two once we get there.

The truth is that nobody……experts, analysts, players, coaches, or even odds makers, know how the season will play out.

I had no way of knowing that a piece of stock that I own shares of would go up 18.75% yesterday.

I just had faith, and I love my Bears more than my stock.

Since nobody knows yet, why not think the best?

I appreciate and read all of your comments, positive and negative, and will reply.

Go Bears!
