The Chicago Bears had one of the best overall drafts in recent history and signed some interesting undrafted free agents as well. Over the next week Bear Goggles On will be breaking down the Bears draft picks and the undrafted free agents with a legitimate shot to make the 2015 roster. With a new management team taking over the leadership of the Bears and the Bears transitioning to new schemes on both sides of the ball, there will be significant roster turnover. Rumors are already circulating about some veteran players and recent draft picks that may not be on the roster in 2015. With all of the turnover in the front office and coaching staff, there is more of an opportunity than usual for rookies to make the team.

The Chicago Bears made major moves on this off-season to help build their offense. They acquired wide receiver Levi Norwood out of Baylor University. At Baylor, Norwood was often used and as a return man due to an overload of talent at the wide receiver position. He was named All-Big 12 as a receiver and punt return man.

Strengths: Norwood is a solid return man with the athleticism to shift and make defenders miss. His ability to get yards after the catch will help his productivity in the pros. He has quickness and the skill to leap and make catches over defenders.

Weakness: Norwood has been known to give up on plays where he is not the primary receiver. He has a small frame, lacks breakaway speed, and upper body strength.

Bears Fit: Although, Norwood has valuable skills as a wider receiver it is likely that he will be primarily used as a return man. The Bears have not had a true punt returner since the days of Devin Hester. Norwood will need to continue to improve his return skills as he will not get much time on the field considering the Bears are already full of talent at the receiving position.
