Welcome to June, BEARS FANS!!! I’ve decided to try to resurrect an old favorite of mine, Bear Dawn. It’s the latest Chicago Bears news from around the interwebs. Here’s what you need to know for Tuesday June 2, 2015…
Chicago Bears punter Pat O’Donnell is starting something called Megapunt Mondays and it looks AWESOME:

All the Bears need to do is put a kiddie pool at the 5 yard line and they’ll be in great shape this season!
The Bears set the date for the opening of training camp on July 30th on the campus of Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais. It’s the 14th straight year at ONU, but it will be the first under John Fox’s leadership. Here’s the full camp schedule:

ESPN’s Jeff Dickerson notes that there’s been no dropoff in Jay Cutler’s arm strength:
"My biggest takeaway after watching Cutler perform in a Week 1 Chicago Bears’ organized team activity (OTA) workout — minus projected starters tight end Martellus Bennett and rookie wide receiver Kevin White — is that the 32-year old quarterback can still sling it.On one play in particular Cutler delivered a perfect over-the-shoulder deep ball to a streaking Alshon Jeffery. The defenders never had a chance. Cutler put the football where only Jeffery could catch it. In a game (with the necessary pass-protection) that’s a sure touchdown."
Da Bears Blog thinks that Vic Fangio’s goal for 2015 should be hitting Aaron Rodgers. I can get behind that.
Da Bears Beat’s latest weekly podcast talks about undrafted free agents as well as the whole Martellus Bennett situation.
Tweet of the Day…
It may be #SaySomethingNiceDay, but we'll wait until #OppositeDay to say something nice about the @packers.
