Bears Draft Prospects: A Baker’s Dozen of the Top Safeties

3 of 14

3. Taylor Mays, 6-3, 230, USC

Mays was considered the top safety prospect in last season’s draft. This year, his stock is down a little bit, but even in this rich safety class he’s still a first round pick. He’s a big physical safety who should be good in run support. He’s projected as another mid-first round pick.  He’s the type of player that fits the Jerry Jones profile for the Cowboys at 27.
