J’Marcus Webb, Offensive Tackle, West Texas A&M
Finally! The Bears take an offensive tackle with their seventh round and final selection. And to say last but not least is an understatement to “not least.” This dude is a mammoth 6’8″ 328 lbs and wears a size 19 shoe. To be perfectly honest, I’ll be pleasantly surprised if any of these late-round guys can contribute right away. I suspect at least one will be redshirted (suffer a mysterious injury late in training camp) or head to the practice squad. That said, I just don’t know enough about them to make a fair assessment. Let’s see what they look like in pads before making a final judgment.
