The Bears head to Dallas to face Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys. After an unimpressive win over the lowly Lions, things don’t look good for the Bears. Meanwhile, the Cowboys come home to open the 2010 campaign off a disappointing loss to the Washington Redskins.
Things seem to start well for the Bears, as Jay Cutler hooks up with Devin Hester for a 1-yard TD pass:
But the ‘Boys come busting back with a TD to rookie Dez Bryant:

But this shapes up to be a back and forth matchup, with Cutler hooking up with Johnny Knox on an 80-yard bomb:
Felix Jones brings Dallas back on a 2 yard TD run:
Bears and Cowboys head to the locker room knotted up at 14 at the half. It was the Bears’ defense that accounts for the Bears tally in the 3rd quarter with an 84-yard pick-6:
But the defense wasn’t up to the challenge to protect the lead, allowing Sam Hurd to split the safeties and score the game-tying touchdown:
The Bears head to Overtime with the Cowboys, which is better that we expected going in, but the Cowboys prevail on a Buehler chip shot field goal to pull out a 24-21 win:
