The Bears are currently tied for last in the NFL with 2 – count ’em 2 quarterback sacks. I am not in any way trying to slam Julius Peppers because from what I’ve seen, he has been worth every penny. I am trying to slam the rest of the Bears defensive line.
With other teams clawing, clutching, chipping, doubling on Peppers, it’s time for someone – ANYONE – to step up along the defensive line, beat a one-on-one block and get some freaking sacks!
How good would Alex Brown look lined up at the defensive end position opposite Julius Peppers? I’m just sayin’.
