Devin Hester Ranked 4th Fastest in NFL

Every few years Sports Illustrated polls NFL players to find out who players rank as the fastest player in the league.  This year, Devin Hester (3%) was ranked a distant 4th fastest behind Chris Johnson (38%), DeSean Jackson (23%) and Mike Wallace (12%).

Michael Vick, the fastest man from the last poll in 2006, was #6 this time around.  Defensive end Dwight Freeney was the only lineman on this season’s list named more than once.    The results are based on the results of polling 316 NFL players.  The article will appear in the October 31st edition of SI.

The good news for Hester and the Bears is that none of the guys faster are covering kicks.
