Bears Playoff Picture Becoming Clearer

If the season were to end today, the Bears would be headed to Jerry World to take on the Dallas Cowboys with a likely rematch with the Green Bay Packers to follow if the Saints were to knock off their likely first round opponent, their division rival Atlanta Falcons.

It would take a Falcons upset at the Superdome and a Bears win in Dallas and in San Francisco to offer the possibility of the Bears-Packers NFC Championship Game rematch, this time at Lambeau Field.  It will also require the Bears to stay the course under backup quarterback Caleb Hanie to maintain their 5th seed in the NFC in the first place.  I need to stop getting ahead of myself.  Focus. Chiefs. Orton. Focus.
