I’ve got a very exciting update for our inaugural Chicago Bears Bloggers Charity Tweet Up that’s coming up this Sunday for the Bears vs Broncos game.
Thanks to the very generous folks at Marconi Foods, we will have a pair of tickets to the December 18th regular season finale between the Bears and the Seattle Seahawks that we’ll be raffling off. In addition, we will have a free FanVision rental available for the game courtesy of the folks at FanVision and some terrific T-shirts from Chitown Clothing. That’s on top of the slew a prizes we’ve already announced.
Here’s the update on the food and beverage package that will be available at Rockit. Our pre-game party will be going on from 1-3 PM and for the low price of $30, you’ll be able to get Bud and Bud Light, Bloody Marys and a brunch buffet. You don’t have to buy the package, but we hope you’ll be able to contribute to the cause in another way if you don’t .
We’ll be selling raffle tickets for your chance to win the aforementioned Bears tickets, a pair of Blackhawks tickets, books, t-shirts, hats, and much more. We’ll be sticking around to watch the game and we hope you will too because we’ll be doing the raffle at halftime. It’s going to be a great event to benefit a great cause, the Israel Idonije Foundation.
You know you’re going to be watching the game anyway, so you might as well grab a few friends and head down to Rockit a little early. Come hang out with your favorite Bears bloggers, get a few cocktails and some food and roll into the 3 PM kickoff of the Bears vs Broncos to watch the Bears for a great cause.
