Tice Not Part of Raiders Plan, Will Be Bears Offensive Coordinator in 2012

Mike Tice will be the Chicago Bears’ offensive coordinator in 2012 as the Oakland Raiders have decided to go in another direction for their next head coach.  Tice had been scheduled to interview with for the Raiders’ open head coaching position at Senior Bowl in Mobile Alabama on Tuesday but the Raiders decided to go into a round of second interviews with the candidates that they had already interviewed.

At least the Bears can move forward on getting their quarterbacks coach/passing game coordinator and offensive line coach vacancies filled.  Rumors last week linked former Wisconsin O-line coach Bob Bostad coming to fill the O-line coaching job.
