There is plenty of notice for Tim LeFevour and the Chicago Park district to get Soldier Field ready for Family Night on August 3rd. Let’s not have another repeat of that disaster, please.
I used to go up to Platteville back in the day and even went up to LaCrosse once when Coach Ditka had Saints camp up there and they scrimmaged the Bears, but I have never made it to Bourbonnais. Maybe I’ll throw the 3-year old in the car and make the trip down I-57 for an afternoon in the sun? Or maybe I’ll leave him at home and head down for some much needed “me” time? Which day or days will you be attending? Any pointers for a first-timer to Bourbonnais?
