Behind Enemy Lines-Jennings Sidelined

It’s only the first pre-season game Thursday night for the Green Bay Packers, but Greg Jennings has been ruled out for their first pre-season matchup against the San Diego Chargers due to a concussion he received Friday night.  Jennings, the two time pro-bowler,  has had a rough start to training camp. He missed some time earlier in training camp with an elbow injury, and now he’s out after getting concussed.

Jennings has been pretty healthy over his six year career only missing 7 games, but sometimes the injury bug will just linger for a season.  Jennings had 67 catches for 949 yards and 9 touchdowns in 2011.  It’s not considered serious, but it’s the era of the concussion so all of these injuries have to be concerning to any team.

It was BEARly worth mentioning, but they are our rivals!
