Sometimes when I get behind on my postings and a pile of news warrants it, I bring back Bear Dawn, a link dump post to help you get caught up on the relevant Chicago Bears news. Here we go:
- On the injury front,we found out that Chris Conte separated his shoulder last Saturday vs the Redskins but expects to be back for the opener. I don’t know about you, but this injury worries me.
- Bears special teams coordinator Dave Toub is worried about Adam Podlesh’s hip flexor, so much so he’s going to see a specialist.
- Speaking of specialists, it turns out Brian Urlacher was seeking help for his ailing knee out of the country this offseason seeking a secret European “miracle cure” that has attracted such heavy hitters as Kobe Bryant, the Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez and the late pontiff John Paul II. I didn’t know the pope played ball. At least this explains why Urlacher didn’t get a cleanup procedure earlier.
- DJ Moore isn’t one to blend into the crowd, so what better way to show that off than to pick up some bright orange shoes for himself and the whole secondary. I bet he’s happy that they didn’t come with the $300 price tag of the new Lebron X’s.
