Salt. Wound. Not only did the Chicago Bears trounce the Tennessee Titans 51-20 on Sunday, but Bears fans celebrated the victory by running some local establishments out of beer.
"In the city where live music is accompanied by whiskey & rye, they apparently weren’t prepared for their beer drinking football fans from the north. The Paradise Park Trailer Resort, for one, had no bottled beer left by dinner time Sunday. Whiskey Bent Saloon had two brands left."
For a town known for it’s nightlife, this is probably more embarrassing than the beating the 7-1 Bears put on the Titans.
I was among the throngs in Nashville and can personally attest that at least one establishment running out of Miller Lite on Sunday night after the game. Next time, we’ll make it a BYOB party Nashville!
