According to Vaughn McClure, the Bears are expected to release Defensive Tackle Matt Toeaina today.

He also tweets that the Bears will save $1.125 by releasing Toeaina.

This move doesn’t come as a complete surprise. Toeaina had limited playing time throughout the year and was placed on injured reserve at the end of the season.
More cuts are expected with the signing of marquee free agents Jermon Bushrod and Martellus Bennett. The Bears need to make salary cap room so you can either expect more cuts or possibly some players to have their contracts restructured.
