Number 90 on our list is another defense. When Norv Turner was around the defense was better especially when they were getting to AFC playoffs only to lose to the New England Patriots. The Chargers defense had three big weeks and the rest were average.
#90-2012 Chargers Defense– 158 points 38 sacks 14 interceptions 14 Forced Fumbles. 7 defensive touchdowns. The Charges defense had three big weeks with two of them against their divisional rivals the Kansas City Chiefs. Their best week was #9 against the Chiefs with 1 sack, 1 interception, 3 forced fumbles and 2 touchdowns. This wouldn’t be my first defensive option but in deep leagues they are adequate.
Retro #90- 2002 Stephen Davis Carolina Panthers RB- 144 points 207 rushes 820 yards 7 touchdowns with 23 catches 142 yards 1 touchdown. Davis had two great seasons with 2002 in between both of them. Davis didn’t do much of anything after 2003 but his three year stretch in Carolina was very productive.
2013 Projected #90
ESPN– Tony Romo- Romo is a productive fantasy QB that will stink up the joint at least twice during the season which if you own him you have your fingers crossed that his crap game isn’t in the playoffs.
CBS Sportsline– Shonn Green- In one of the worst offenses in the NFL Green was able to carry the ball 276 times for 1064 yards and 8 TD’s. The offense in Jet land could be worse this year so Green should have buyer beware written all over him.
