Our dog days are at #89 and today’s player didn’t live up to pre-season expectations even though his stats when looking at them were not that bad.

2012 #89– Brandon Lloyd Wr New England Patriots 158 points 74 catches for 911 yards and 4 TD’s.  Lloyd had a decent year but when he signed on to catch balls from Tom Brady many had Lloyd penciled in as a Top 10 fantasy receiver which didn’t materialize.

Retro #89– 2002 Tennesse Titans Defense- The Titans finished with 40 sacks 14 interceptions 11 forced fumbles and 4 Td’s.  They came on during the 2nd half of the season scoring double digits in 5 out of the last 8 weeks.

2013 Look Ahead #89

ESPN– Andre Brown RB New York Giants- With Bradshaw gone Brown will have a chance to carry the ball along with David Wilson. He will be the short yardage, goal line guy for the G-men. Brown scored 8 TD’s from 2 yards or closer.

CBS Sportsline– Mike Wallace WR Miami Dolphins A new address and a whole lot of unknown down in Miami for Wallace.  Will they be able to get Wallace the ball enough to make Wallace startable week in and week out or just a spot starter depending on the matchup?
