#68-2012– Stephen Gostkowski PK New England Patriots- Gostkowski was the highest point scorer kicker last season so we can finally stop talking about kickers! Gostkowski kicks for one of the best offenses year in and year out so he’s a safe bet come the last round of the draft and you are throwing darts at the board for which kicker you want to draft in 2013.
Retro-#68 2002– Chad Johnson WR Cincinnati Bengals- It was funny looking back and seeing Johnson not called Ocho Cinco. This was Johnson’s first good season before a very nice run with Cincinnati. Johnson schtick was tiring for me and it was great when the judge threw him in jail this year for being a ham in court. I lost out on Johnson after 2002 in a restricted free agent bidding and it took a couple of years for my team to find a WR that productive in the mid 2000’s.
Look Ahead– #68
ESPN- Greg Jennings-WR Minnesota Vikings- Jennings will now know what most wide receivers in the rest of the NFL deal with when they don’t have Aaron Rodgers as his quarterback. Hello Christian Ponder! Jennings has a lot of talent and he will be able to be productive but don’t expect him to be great ever again.
CBS-BenJarvus Green-Ellis RB Cincinnati Bengals- The Law Firm was discussed last night, as he had the best yards rushing of his career with the least amount of rushing TD’s since 2009. Green-Ellis will have to deal with Giovani Bernard for carries but look for Green-Ellis to have the bulk of the carries!
