#63-2012 Stevie Johnson- Johnson had 79 catches for 1,046 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2012. Since his breakout season in 2010 he has been very consistent getting similar numbers the last three seasons.  In comes all new quarterback and offense so as we have already seen with the look ahead the experts aren’t expecting Johnson to maintain this average.  I expect a regression too but if you are in deep leagues he will be a solid #2 or #3 receiver.

Retro-#63- James Stewart- RB Detroit Lions- 2002 was Stewart’s third and final season with Detroit after starting his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars.  Stewart rushed for 1,021 yards and 4 td’s in his final season. In two out of three seasons in Detroit he rushed for over 1,000 yards after never eclipsing that mark with the Jaguars.

Looking Ahead

ESPN-Robert Griffin III QB Washington Redskins- The knee will be the indicator of how good, great, or disappointing RG3’s season will be in 2013.

CBS- Dwayne Bowe- WR -Kansas City Chiefs- If Bowe had a better quarterback he would be a top 3 fantasy wide receiver, but without a stud quarterback behind center Bowe is available way later than his massive talent should allow.
