#58-2012 Michael Vick- The Michael Vick quarterback story of 2012 was not a happy one. Vick and the Eagles struggled mightily during the first 10 weeks which I watched up close and personal when they played the Atlanta Falcons.  It wasn’t just Vick it was the entire team but Vick was the scapegoat. Nick Foles played and wasn’t that great either. Vick has an even steven shot to start under Chip Kelly so neither quarterback will be drafted early, the question will be is Vick a steal or a wasted late draft pick.

Retro-#58 2002– Warrick Dunn-RB Atlanta Falcons Dunn started with the Tampa Bay Bucs but his best season were with the Falcons.  He was Marshall Faulk lite and was a good fantasy running back especially in a flex position. Dunn had 1,250 combined yards and 5 TD’s.

Looking Ahead #58

ESPN-Steve Smith-WR-Carolina Panthers- We have talked about Smith quite a bit lately and he should be a good #2 or flex receiver with hopefully a more mature Cam Newton throwing him the ball.

CBS– Rashard Mendenhall-RB Arizona Cardinals- Mendenhall has a new home and is a guy I will be avoiding.  He could be great, but he wasn’t great in Pittsburgh and Arizona isn’t a place where running backs find themselves.
