#56-2012 James Jones-WR Green Bay Packers- Jones stats for 2012 were 64 catches 784 yards and 14 touchdowns. Early on during the 2012 season Jones was just catching touchdown passes, and the yards caught up later when the touchdowns slowed down. His best week was against the Bears when he caught 5 for 60 with three Soldier Field touchdowns. Jones is sketchy to me because of his hands but maybe 2012 was the breakout season everyone was looking forward to with Jones.
Retro-#56-2002- Donald Driver -WR Green Bay Packers- Driver was never a #1 in Cheesehead land but he was very good for a long time. Driver had over 1,000 yards every season until 2009 except for one in 2003. Driver was a solid fantasy #2 receiver or flex position receiver for an entire decade.
Look Ahead
ESPN- Tony Gonzalez- TE Atlanta Falcons- ESPN actually is looking for #88 to have better stats than last season. Gonzalez is a walking Hall of Famer so enjoy watching him while he’s still playing.
CBS-Andrew Luck-QB-Indianapolis Colts Luck will be a fantasy QB stud for years to come. Luck was good to begin with but got better as the season progressed while finishing with 4,300 yards passing 23 TD 18 INT. It will be interesting to see where he ends up getting drafted in re-draft leagues.
