In case you’re new to the site, the Milk Carton is the weekly distinction for the member of the team who disappeared and went missing during the game. This game was actually very good in almost every aspect, so most players don’t deserve the milk carton award. I was so glad that the man on the left wasn’t a worthy candidate for this “honor.” Here ere are some very positive nominees.
The bad offensive line– It seemed as though the Bears bad offensive line didn’t want to come to the game. Instead, a very solid offensive line showed up. NFL Networks highlights of the game consisted of mostly Bears blocking plays. So I’m honestly fine with the crappy line staying home.
Fendi Onobun– For the second time this preseason, this guy dropped an easy potential touchdown. Kellen Davis V. 2, if you ask me. Look for him to be out of a job soon. It’s so aggravating.
And the winner is… Brandon Marshall.
Our star receiver played terribly, dropping balls left to right. I wouldn’t be worried. I’m just glad Jay Cutler still had a very good game without the help of who some think is his only receiver. It was awesome seeing other guys in the mix, especially Alshon Jeffery. I’m not worried, but during the regular season, Brandon Marshall is still going to need to be a big factor, even with other receivers actually playing well.
