New Additions:

Julius Thomas – TE: Orange Julius is a big ticket item right now after his 2 TD performance in the Thursday opener. I advised caution in my Alf Morris All-Star posts and I’ll do the same here. With 16 TEs putting up double-digit fantasy points in week 1, you don’t need to break the bank on Thomas. He’s not going to score 2 touchdowns every week, there are too many other options in Denver and TE is as deep as it’s ever been right now. If you absolutely need him, then do it but don’t forget the Kevin Ogletree debacle.

Waiver priority: 3rd

DeAndre Hopkins – WR: The fantasy public has been down on Hopkins since a concussion kept him out for the last 3 preseason games. Concussions are a fickle beast, you just never know, but Hopkins played over half the offensive snaps in week 1 and put up decent numbers (5-66). He’s a first round pick in a great situation opposite Andre Johnson. Go get him.

Joique BellRB: I know I said I wouldn’t list any handcuffs, but I don’t consider Bell one.  He had 6 carries, over half of the red zone work, and was targeted 6 times in the passing game. Even if Bush stays healthy, Bell has a legit shot to put up double digit fantasy points every week.

Max FAAB Bid: $12

Waiver priority: 2nd

Julian EdelmanWREdelman was lost in the Kenbrell Thompkins & Zach Sudfield hype, but we all should of known better. Edelman was in the running for a starting gig with the Pats last year before he got hurt and now that Amendola is banged up (out for week 2), Edelman is the #1 receiver on a usually high powered offense. He slipped through the cracks in the preseason, don’t let it happen again.

Max FAAB Bid: $21

Waiver priority: 1st

Just missed: Marlon Brown ($4), Tyler Eifert ($3)

Dropped off:

Mohamed Sanu – WR: No thanks.

Coby Fleener – TE: I’m tempted to leave Fleener on the list because I believe the talent is there, but he was outscored by Dwayne Allen again and was only targeted 1 time. It’s possible he was left out of the game plan since he missed the last few weeks of practice, but I need to see more than 1 target to keep him on the list. I wouldn’t be shocked if he is back by mid-season.
