Your Chicago Bears Morning Links – 9/12/13

Happy Thursday Bears fans!  We’ve got the Jets visiting the Patriots tonight, so make sure you’ve got your lineups set and go get the Patriots defense for your fantasy defense.  Week 2 brings the Minnesota Vikings to town.  Here are some links to help you get your day started.

The Bears got back to work on Wednesday and Coach Trestman spoke about the early preparations for the Vikings.

Speaking of coaches, David Haugh talks about the big shoes that Mel Tucker has to fill.

ESPN Chicago tells us the Bears want better pass rush vs. Vikings.  Well DUH!

But they’re not the only ones.  NBC Chicago says the Bears expect more from their defensive line.  Double DUH!!!

DJ Williams, welcome to the NFC North. Your first big test? Slow down Adrian Peterson.

The Bears will wear their spiffy 1940’s throwback uniforms on Sunday.  Sweet!

Dan Durkin of 670 The Score wants you to get to know your opponent, the Minnesota Vikings.

Durkin also does a nice work on his film study of the Brandon Marshall TD.

Meanwhile Jeff Hughes from Da Bears Blog breaks down a play that didn’t work last week, a Forte pass underneath that ended up in an illegal man downfield penalty instead of a big game. Trestman talked about it in our first link.

A certain quarterback never called Brian Urlacher to congratulate him on his retirement.  Watch the clip on Yahoo Sports here.    Was he snubbed or not snubbed?

We touched on Jamie Dukes and his odd comments about the Bears and their offense.  His stupidity continued on Wednesday.  It’s bad enough he decided to defend Ndamukong Suh, but he dropped this beauty in that defense:

Really Jamie?  I did Google it below:

Tell me if that’s the act of a gentle giant or a psycho.  Who ya crappin???
