Boy, we needed that! The Chicago Bears “bearly” got a win on Thursday Night Football against a win-less team, The New York Football Giants. I was sweating it out at the end, and remembered how “clutch” Eli Manning can be. If I was in marketing for TV spots, I would be asking for top dollar to have companies commercials run at the end of Bears games.

I also enjoyed the Rich Eisen interview with Brandon Marshall in the pre-game show. Brandon comes across very well and I hope he retires with the Bears. One thing I did not enjoy was seeing Devin Hester going off on Robbie Gould during the game on the sideline. I don’t think he approved of how Robbie kicked the ball off or something. Of course the NFL likes to have a little drama, so they showed it on TV and commented on it. I really don’t want to perpetuate the controversy, but I do feel that Devin Hester should be more concerned about his returns than he is with Robbie Gould’s kicks.
