1. Jay Cutler

The number one reason to be excited about the Bears 4-2 start has to be the play of Jay Cutler under Marc Trestman. First off you have to think Cutler will only get more comfortable in this offense and everything will continue to become easier for him.  Secondly, and most exciting number is Cutler’s touchdown to interception ration is the best it’s ever been since he was traded to the Bears. Through 6 games Cutler has 12 touchdowns to 6 interceptions which is the best ratio he’s had since he was with Denver.

Cutler is not forcing the ball into areas and mainly that’s because his line has held up for every game but the early stages of the New Orleans Saints game.  Cutler has spent less time on his back which has led to better decisions. He has only been sacked 9 times while gaining almost 100 yards on the ground and blowing up a Pittsburgh Steelers safety along the way.

Cutler like the rest of the offense should continue to improve, but through the first 6 games you have to like and be excited by what you have seen from #6 in 2013!
