Fantasy Football Week 10: Start’em / Sit’em

Sit’em:

QB:

Andy Dalton @BAL (32%, 17): All year I’ve been ripping Dalton and then the one week I second guess myself and recommend starting him, he has his worst game of the season (6 points). No more flip-flops for me, I think Dalton is a sub-par QB who gets by because he’s surrounded by a good o-line and explosive weapons on offense. That won’t be enough this week against a decent Ravens D in a rivalry game.

Seneca Wallace PHI (13%, 16): You might be tempted because Philly’s defense sucks, but so does Seneca Wallace.

RB:

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

Fred Jackson @PIT (70%,14): Spiller is off the injury list for what seems like the first time ever and coach Marrone is talking about getting Spiller more carries. That doesn’t bode well for Jackson. F-Jax could still get some goal-line carries and might vulture a TD, but 14 points seems high to me.

Trent Richardson STL (65%,12): T-Rich has less fantasy points this season than Chris Ogbonnaya, Roy Helu, and Rashad Jennings (who has only started 1 game). No reason T-Rich should be started in 65% of leagues. He has 97 yards rushing over his last three games combined.

DeAngelo Williams @SF (35%,8): Nothing against DeAngelo, but he’s splitting time with Stewart and Tolbert. I don’t think he’ll get enough touches to warrant a start this week (or the rest of the season).

Rashard Mendenhall HOU (12%,9): Don’t buy the “he looks great” crap coach Arians is slinging this week. I think it’s just a ploy so Houston doesn’t expect an all Ellington game plan.

WR:

Anquan Boldin CAR (44%, 11): Every week until he does something. He hasn’t broke 100 yards since week 1 and only has 2 TDs on the season.

Marques Colston DAL (34%, 11): Same here. Colston had 44 receiving yards total in the month of October.

Harry Douglas SEA (53%, 11): Douglas has been great as the Falcons #1 WR  post-Julio, but he has a tough match-up this week against Seattle and Roddy White is back to take away some of his targets. If you are going to ignore me and start one of my sit recommendation, make sure it’s Douglas.

James Jones PHI (35%,10): Seneca Wallace is no Aaron Rodgers. When a team is considering Matt Flynn as an option, that’s a really bad sign. Jones may be 100% healthy now, but he’ll be competing for catches with Jordy & Boykin and I don’t think many of Seneca’s passes will be catchable. Not to mention, I think it will be a run-heavy game plan while Rodgers is out. Try to find a better option if you can.

TE:

Garrett Graham @ARI (16%, 9): Arizona has given up more points to TEs than any other team.  I’m still not starting Graham. He hasn’t cracked 50 yards since Keenum took over and I just don’t think he’ll get enough targets to crack 10 fantasy points.

Jared Cook @IND (34%,6): Did 34% of fantasy players quit watching football after week 1 ? Cook hasn’t had over 45 yards in a game since the first week of the season. Ugh.
