As much as I want to pick the Bears after Monday night’s victory over the cheeseheads, I’m going to have to go with my gut on this one and pick Da Bears!!! I know a healthy Lions team is not the same as an injury riddled Green Bay team, but as we say on Monday: stuff happens. The Lions have historically been less than disciplined and when Josh McCown starts (and he will start) the Lions are not going to come at the Bears with as much energy because “they should win easily” against a backup QB and a shell of a once dominant defense. Besides, the Bears have something the Lions don’t have: Marc Trestman.

Bears have a ton of momentum coming off the GB victory and the return of Smokin’ Jay. Lions might struggle on the infamously soft Soldier Field turf. I like the Bears to put their stamp on the NFC North in this one.

Bears 30 – Lions 28

I am still euphoric about the  victory over the Packers…and yes I did have my beloved Bears picked to lose.  Never has crow tasted so good!  I will double  down on the Bears this week and pick them to lose again…maybe I am on to something.  A little superstitious maybe but whatever works.  McCown looked good and the pass rush suddenly appeared though our linebackers still do not know their assigned gaps.  I am looking for a second serving of crow this week thank you!

The Lions own the tiebreaker against the Bears so the beloved NEED this win. Even though Jay Cutler might not be 100 percent, he was medically cleared to play. I’ll take a 90 percent Cutler over a healthy Josh McCown any day, not to discredit McCown’s performance against the Packers.

Our staff is split on how the Bears fare on Sunday.  What do YOU think Bears fans?  What’s your prediction for the game?
