Flashforward to Sunday afternoon,  Jay Cutler wanted to be on the field, play, and win the game and maybe just maybe in the back of his mind wanted to play through noticeable pain so that he could leave the field known as a warrior!  The NFL is full of great players playing through terrible injuries from Emmitt Smith playing with basically one arm to Jack Youngblood playing with a broken leg.

Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field was going to be Jay Cutler’s tough guy story! He was going to play with a bad groin! The problem with this story is it became a horror story with the added ankle injury and the fact the Cutler couldn’t run the offense the way it needs to be run.

Who’s fault is that? Marc Trestman maybe, but you know he wanted to sit at that podium Sunday afternoon with a Win in his pocket sitting next to Cutler and calling him a warrior for playing through the pain and leading his team to victory.  Jim McMahon did it on a Thursday night in Minnesota during the Bears Super Bowl season why not let Jay lose the Soft Title and have a legendary day to change a career reputation.

Who’s fault is it? Its our fault as fans! We want tough players and Cutler finally got tired of listening to our bitching and moaning and he manned up on Sunday and it cost us a win and first place in the NFC Central!!

We can’t have our cake and eat it too and in the end when we look in the mirror all week long deep down inside we all know the Bears lost because of us!
