Fantasy Football Week 13: Start’em / Sit’em

2 of 2

Sit’em:

QB:

Ben Roethlisberger @BAL (31%,17): He’s been hot lately, but bad in 5 of his last 8 and struggled in first match-up against the Ravens this year (168-1). The Raven’s defense is playing well lately and I don’t think Ben has much upside this week.

Matt Ryan @BUF (57%, 20): It’s been 7 weeks since Ryan cracked 20 fantasy points. I don’t have much faith that he can turn it around this year.

RB:

Bobby Rainey @CAR (28%,11): He got stuffed last week (18-35) by a weak Lions runs defense. It gets considerably tougher this week on the road against the Panthers 3rd ranked run defense.

Ray Rice PIT (76%, 14): His big game two weeks ago was a fluke. Anyone can run on the Bears D right now. Rice struggled again last week (16-30) and in earlier match-up vs Steelers this year (45 rushing yards).

Trent Richardson TEN (39%, 10): I finally cut T-Rich this week in the two leagues I owned him. Felt good. T-Rich hasn’t cracked 50 yards in the last six weeks. It’s good to see his start percentage finally under 50%, but it should be at zero.

Lamar Miller NYJ (31%,10): 27 rushing yards total over the last 3 weeks. Less then 10 yards per week! No thanks.

Steven Ridley @HOU (50%, 9): Just when it looked like Ridley had solidified the Pats #1 RB job, he starts fumbling again. He has two fumbles in the last two weeks and I’d be surprised if Belichick gives him more than 10 carries this week. What a jerk.

Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

CJ Spiller ATL (37%,11): He  has only played on 33% of the offensive snaps the last three weeks. He’s basically a 3rd down back and has no business being in your starting lineup. I know it hurts because you probably spent $50+ on Spiller, but so did a lot of us. Just cut your losses and move on.

WR:

Cecil Shorts @CLE (44%,13): Joe Haden. Chad Henne. No thanks.

Mike Wallace NYJ (55%,12): Can he have two good weeks in a row? Wallace has only had 3 good games all season, so I’m not betting on it.

TY Hilton TEN (68%, 11): Titans CB Alturran Verner is in the top 5 in pretty much every advanced stat for CBs, including 2nd in TDs allowed. I think Hilton will have a tough time getting open Sunday.

Hakeem Nicks @WAS (40%, 10): Still no TDs this year and he is banged up. Don’t let past performance fool you into thinking Nicks is worth starting.

Roddy White @BUF (40$,10): He was supposedly 100% healthy for the first time all season last week. He had two catches for 24 yards. I need to see Roddy have a decent game or two before I feel comfortable starting him.

Danny Amendola  @HOU (51%, 8): Tom Brady seems to find a different receiver to throw to every week. Is it going to be Amendola this week? Your guess is as good as mine. I’d rather go with someone like Streater or Kendall Wright who I know are at lest going to get targets.

TE:

Antonio Gates CIN (67%,11): It looks like age might be catching up with Gates. He looks like he’s lost a step or two and with the emergence of Ladarius Green, Gates might get a few more breathers on the sidelines the next few weeks.

Garrett Graham NE (22%,9): The Texans offense is a mess and Keenum doesn’t throw to tight ends as much as Schaub did. You can probably do better than Graham on your waiver wire.
