Coach Boss (7-5)
As bad as the Bears have played on defense the past few games, it would be easy to write off the reset of the season (accept against the browns); however, I saw some fight in the team that hasn’t been there in a while. It is MNF and the first time playing (starting) on this type of stage for many of these players. I trust Marc Trestman and I like the overall direction of this team. Chicago learns to finish a game and finds a way to win.
Bears 34 Cowboys 31
Trent Anderson (2-5)
Hard to have much confidence in either team, but at least the Bears are somewhat accustomed to playing in the elements.
Bears 24 Cowboys 23
GM Mouser (6-6)
Our beloved Bears are having an identity crisis and it is making picking games very difficult as I am not sure which team will show up. Lately, it has been the bad news Bears so I am sticking with that trend. I like the numbers McCown is putting up but they just are not closing the deal and winning games. Trestman’s rookie coaching errors are magnified as the team leaves no room for error due to lack of execution on all sides of the ball. A good kicker, at 47 yards, is maybe 80+% while a good running back can rush the ball 200+ times with one fumble…do the math….Trestman obviously did not. There is no consistency and I do not remember a team being able to move the ball like the Bears yet still lose…check that, last year’s Detroit Lions did that! Sorry Bear fans, this team will lose again I am afraid.
