To close out the NFC North race the last couple of weeks of the season, here’s how the schedule breaks down:

CHICAGO BEARS (8-6)
@ Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday Night Football)
Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers (7-6-1)
Pittsburgh Steelers
@ Chicago Bears

Detroit Lions (7-7)
New York Giants
@ Minnesota Vikings

It’s no cakewalk for either the Bears down the stretch.  Although the Eagles managed to find a way to lose to the Adrian Peterson-less Vikings, they’re an elite offense and will be fighting the Bears for potential playoff seeding.  The Packers expect Aaron Rodgers to return and as we all know, they’ve historically dominated the Bears in recent years.

If the Bears can win out, they’ll head to the playoffs as the #3 seed in the NFC and would host the #6 seed, which is currently the San Francisco 49ers.

You’d better believe that if the Bears and Packers hold serve next weekend, they’ll be flexed to the Sunday Night Game with the division title on the line.  It’s going to be an interesting couple of weeks.

BEAR DOWN!!!
