5 — Kareem Martin, North Carolina

Martin racked up an impressive 11 sacks and 78 tackles during the 2013 campaign for the Tarheels.  At nearly 6-6, 272 he’s tall and thin for a defensive end and may need to bulk up in order to thrive in the NFL.  However, he showed a great work ethic during his college career and is a very coachable player.  The Bears definitely should not use a high draft pick on Martin, but they should consider him as a solid insurance player who can play special teams for a year before moving into a starting role.
